“Ideas Mean Nothing Until You Make It Happen.”

On the special occasion of our fifth anniversary, we decided to make our first brand video to deliver our brand value “Make Something Wonderful” and connect with our audience. During the five years, we are grateful to have supporters from all walks of life at different ages, including engineers, software developers, architects, teachers, designers, lawyers, and many more. Your stories show that no matter how old you are and what career you’re dedicated to, you can make something wonderful, for your personal goals, for your loved ones, or for society.

Inspired by our user stories worldwide, we decide to tell the following three compelling stories from different perspectives: self-fulfillment, family heritage, and social responsibility. We also incorporated three functions of the Snapmaker machine, 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC carving in the video. Hope you can feel a sense of passion, warmth, relief, and joy after watching the video.

Creativity is your gift to the world

From the stories collected, many users simply want to make something they like and try their hands on a new hobby. Using the 3-in-1 Snapmaker machine has a learning curve, but the process of challenging yourself and making your ideas come true is worth it. Are you overwhelmed by day-to-day jobs and chores? When was the last time you did something fun purely for yourself? Indulging yourself into making can bring you a renewed sense of joy and fulfillment. The story depicts a young man Jason who leads a dull and busy life yet develops a passion for making, which helps him gain a reputation in the community. At the end of the story, people are admiring Jason’s wood carvings displayed at a local community art show. 

Passing the maker spirit onto the next generation

What’s the role of a maker in the family, especially in modern life? Making is not only a way to explore creativity and imagination, but also provides a great opportunity to connect with your loved ones. In this story, we watch the bond between a grandfather and his granddaughter Emma. They sketch the design, set up the Snapmaker CNC machine, work on the frame and car shell and assemble them, having fun making and spending quality family time together.

Making a positive impact on the minority

With kindness in mind, you can utilize your imagination to make a positive impact on society. The third story shows caring for the minority. Designer Sally notices a disabled dog hiding at the street corner and makes a wheelchair for him with the help of the Snapmaker machine.  Finally, the dog can run for joy through the park.
